The first play to be produced on Broadway by a black woman, Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raison in the Sun, is back. The long anticipated revival has arrived and has star power like you wouldn’t believe. Gracing the stage for this classic will be an all-star cast including Anika Noni Rose, Denzel Washington and Sophie Okonedo from Hotel Rwanda. I can’t wait to get to NY to fulfill my dreams of seeing a play on Broadway, and with such a historical classic, I will be carrying a little piece of Broadway in my heart for eternity.
