For the first time H&M will do a guest collaboration featuring an American designer, Alexander Wang. During a party at the Coachella Music Festival in Palm Springs H&M made the announcement about their next collaboration and dropped the official release date. On November 6 this year, it is time to sharpen your elbows and put your game face on, as the Alexander Wang x H&M Collection will hit around 250 stores worldwide and online. Ready... Set... I can’t speak for the rest of the fashion powerhouses, but H&M just up’d their level of consciousness…exclusively! The new collaboration of H&M and the environmentally friendly femmes Alexia Niedzielski and Elizabeth von Guttman is putting a new spin on going “green”. The birth child of this collaboration, Conscious Exclusive, is said to introduce a lineup of luxe new materials like vegetable-tanned-leather and and very directional silhouettes. Their goal is to get away from the hemp-and-Birkenstock cliché and show that sustainable can be desirable.
